This Week on N and CF.

This week on Chick Flicks at the movies: Eternally Yours(1939) American comedy film made by Walter Wanger. The film was produced and directed by Tay Garnett with Walter Wanger as executive producer, from a screenplay by C. Graham Baker and Gene Towne. Cast Loretta Young, David Niven and Broderick Crawford with a large supporting cast including Hugh Herbert, Billie Burke, C. Aubrey Smith, Virginia Field, Raymond Walburn, Zasu Pitts and Eve Arden. Composer Werner Janssen was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Music. Please click picture on the side bar to view movie.

ON TCM. Dec. 21, 2010. Classic On Screen Couples. Please click picture on side bar to view featured films. One of the featured films that caught my interest is: Sunny Side Up (1929), musical with original songs, story, and dialogue by B. G. DeSylva, Lew Brown and Ray Henderson. Cast: Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell. The film was directed by David Butler. The film centres around wealthy Jack Cromwell from Long Island, who runs off to New York City to see his fiancee. He attends an Independence Day block party where Molly Car, falls in love with him.

On TCM: Dec. 26, 2010. Disney Marathon. Please click picture on side bar to view featured Movie magic. TCM presents a Disney Marathon. The all-day event will be co-hosted by Rebecca Cline, who runs D23 (The Official Disney Fan Club), and Robert Osborne, and include the 2009 original documentary The Age of Believing: The Disney Live-Action Classics, narrated by Tony winner and three-time Oscar® nominee Angela Lansbury. Among the live action feature films airing are The Parent Trap (1961), The Love Bug (1968) and Swiss Family Robinson (1960).
