new hair, new shirt

the other day I got a $10 giftcard coupon in the mail from Kohl's.  I never go there, but I figured, "hmph! why not check it out, see if there's anything worth getting!" And I found a couple shirts... today I'm wearing the button-up one, by Derek Heart, it was only $9, on clearance.

Also dyed my hair back to red so now I feel more like myself!! I have to work from 2:30-7 today, and I wanted to feel casual and comfortable. I'm also wearing my Forever 21 jeans and Old Navy flippy floppies.

Currently listening to: Whirrs by Miracle Fortress off the album Five Roses

Have a great weekend!!!

Spring/Summer 2011 Bridal

I've felt inspired by watching re-runs of Say Yes to the Dress on TLC.  I can't lie, it kind of makes me want to get engaged...so I can get a dress, of course! I figured why not start searching and find dresses I like, so later on I have a better idea of what I want when the time comes. ^_^

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera. I absolutely love the bodice and neckline on this dress, however, I'm a little unsure of the hem.  I never thought i'd like a hem line that shows the feet (anyone know what this is called??), but in this dress, (probably because it's Carolina!) it just works.

This was the dress that opened the Christos show.  Nearly every dress in this collection I fell in love with and I think I've found the designer whose dress I want! This dress kind of sums up the dresses by Christos, and I want to try it on. At Kleinfeld.

I absolutely love this dress. Marchesa.

Oscar de la Renta.  The detailing on this dress is insane!!

Tom Binns

I was reading the April issue of British Vogue today and discovered Tom Binns, the jewellery designer.  He has designed six pieces (5 of them shown below) for Disney, under the Walt Disney Signature Collection line. This collection of six necklaces was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, as you can see from the theme of teacups, hearts, and keyholes. The range will be available through luxury retailers and fine boutiques, in price from $1,000 to $3,000.
